- I've had the pleasure of learning about fashion flats and illustrations firsthand under the tutelage of the author, Irina Ivanova, and indirectly the designer, Andre Milman. This book series reflects their concise understanding and expertise in fashion design. They know the language in which industry professionals communicate, they know basic principles that are used throughout fashion and art, and they know how to breakdown this information and make it easily digestible to beginners. I currently own all three books from this book series and they all cover a wide range of best practices and fundamental rules that, when applied, will greatly enhance your skillset. I’ve completed freelance design work for several companies and I always find myself constantly referring back to these books. I would highly recommend any of Ivanova products, specifically this book series, to anyone aspiring to be a designer at any level.
- I love all the books that like this one gives the designer detailed instructions on sketching and drawing. I can get so frustrated when I can’t get my ideas in my mind on paper. Tools like this book are always beneficial to me to help me focus and guide my very all over the place design mind.

- I thought this book was going to give in depth instructions on how to draw a child croquis, its more so just child croquis in different poses
- As a fashion/ costume designer I always loved to come up with intricate designs that sadly, I was not able to properly translate on paper. That is until I met Irina Ivanova! She is truly a master of her skill. I already own her first two books (Figure Drawing Templates Set #1/2), which I highly recommend as a great tool to any designer. Being a costume designer and traveling the world, these croquis books were so simple and lightweight they slipped right into my suitcase or backpack, and allowed me to feel confident that I could sketch anywhere in the world!
If you are a children’s wear designer, student or just love illustrating, I highly recommend the Children’s Fashion Illustration Resource Book to you. There are wonderful tools and details in here for every age group (0-10) to assist you in accomplishing your project.
