- Each year if I can find one, I buy my husband a Wooden Boats calendar for his birthday, as he loves the look of the boats and is from the East coast. Now that has made these calendars more readily available, I can order them easily for him. He used to vacation in Maine, and it always brings back pleasant memories for him; I guess that's the next best thing to having a boat of his own!
The calendar never fails to please and is a great offering every month of a different craft; each well-made and well-photographed. There is plenty of space to write down appointments and memorable dates as well.
For an arm chair sail, Wooden Boats calendars are highly recommended. - Mendlowitz' photography is true and varied. The geographical distribution of boats shown in the '09 publication makes this calendar of interest to any boater or boat lover. Maynard Bray authors a brief description of each month's feature, written in clear language and with a lot of background as to size, maker, date, features, and other building detail. These photos are on semi-gloss stock, quite suitable for mounting and framing.
