- There were some important life lessons in this story of Abigail and Asa, Irene and Sol and the father in the witness protection program. It's one of the better Amish stories I've read. The Focus is on forgiveness.
- Everyone has their demons; habits or thoughts they with they didn't, and secrets. Everyone. We learn about this Amish family and extended family and all their secrets, trials and successes, revelations, and faith. I loved The characters and the story is well written and insightful. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good love story because we have at least 3 of them here.
- Enjoyed this so much. Her story telling kept my I interest all the way through. Being a Christian fiction fan I loved all how the story had so much about love compassion forgiveness of self and others and the love and trust in God. I always love stories that have strong family connections which is so lacking in society today

- Such a nice story concerning several generations of Amish families living in an Amish community. The book relied on their religious structure but not to the point of being overly strict or certinally not at all boring. The young couples are charming with different personalities and problems.

- At first the book was hard to get into. You had to pay attention for within the main story four more detail stories unfold. With thought provoking plots that keep you on the edge of your seat. With many regular parts everyday life getting in the way of love and adventures for life in general. Underling, we are nothing without God and our faith!
